POLICE RAID POT DEN

Police raided a pot-growing operation in Beaconsfield yesterday, just two
days after finding a hydroponic marijuana setup in the same community.

Police were still counting the plants in the Northcliff Ave. home several
hours after they entered the house yesterday afternoon. Like Friday night's
bust, concerned neighbours called the police after noticing a window had
been open for several days.

Montreal police Constable Yannick Ouimet could not say whether anyone was
at home when the police arrived, but he did say police know who the owners
of the house are. He also said it was not known whether the two pot-growing
operations are linked.
