SMOKE GOT IN THEIR EYES...

Well, the cynics were correct: They said a year ago the federal
government's plans to grow marijuana in a converted mine in Flin Flon,
Manitoba, would be a flop and so it was.

One would think that even the government bureaucracy couldn't botch this
up, but their experts did -- while amateur enthusiasts across the country
succeeded. The multi-million-dollar program was announced last April, and
the crop was to be ready in January. But not only is the crop months late,
it is far from being sufficiently pure for medical use -- there are 185
different kinds of pot in the mix.

This is a story worthy of re-uniting Cheech and Chong for. It would make a
hilarious comedy set in a town with a hilarious name.

But who would believe a tale as far-fetched as this could be possible?
