AGENTS PUT CHOKEHOLD ON ORLANDO OXYGEN BAR

Owner, Manager Arrested At Club

ORLANDO - For the second time in as many months, the Metropolitan Bureau of
Investigation has raided a downtown Orlando oxygen bar, one of the last
after-hours clubs in Orange County.

Agents entered Club H20 on Pine Street about 4:30 a.m. Saturday, taking
owner Stalin Antonio Asenjo, 29, of Altamonte Springs and manager Joe
Raymond Cruz, 28, of Kissimmee away in handcuffs in front of about three
dozen patrons.

Asenjo was charged with running an unlicensed rave club and operating
beyond authorized hours.

Cruz faces the same charges, in addition to operating an unlicensed massage
parlor. Both men were being held Saturday at the Orange County jail.

County ordinances call a rave club any place with music and dance space
that does not serve alcohol.

MBI director Bill Lutz said attorneys used the county regulations because
Orlando does not have a similar city ordinance.

After a May 25 raid that resuited in five drug-related arrests, Asenjo said
he talked to police about how to correct problems at the club, where
patrons can sniff scented air with names such as Sex on the Beach and Pina
Colada.
