JUDGE URGES NOELLE BUSH TO STAY WITH PROGRAM
ORLANDO - A judge told Gov. Jeb Bush's daughter to "hang in there" Friday
after she expressed concerns about her drug treatment program.
Judge Reginald Whitehead told Noelle Bush that he knows well the program at
the Center for Drug-Free Living and felt she was making progress.
"I've been told you have concerns about your treatment, things that are
going on in treatment, and I know you may not be happy there right now,"
Whitehead told Bush during a brief hearing. "Treatment is tough. Sometimes
you have good days and some days you have bad days."
Bush is required to attend the status hearing before Whitehead every two weeks.
Bush's attorney, Dean Cannon, wouldn't say what concerns Bush had about her
treatment.
