To the editor:
Missing from your eloquent eulogy of Milton Friedman ("Champion of
freedom," Nov. 17) was his vocal opposition to our so-called war on
drugs.
I'd like to suggest that you publish his words on the subject
published in Newsweek magazine on May 1, 1972, or his "Open letter to
Bill Bennett" published in The Wall Street Journal on Sept. 7, 1989.
