Safe-injection sites are part of the solution to treating addictions.

The site provides an opportunity to introduce harm reduction, along
with treatment options for many other health issues -- along with an
opportunity to outreach on drug-addiction treatment.

The notion that addiction can be treated simply is both narrow and uneducated.

These people are our sons, daughters, brothers, sisters and parents.
They are not disposable citizens, and they have a right to health care.

Addiction is complex, and we need to support these people.
