THE PHASES OF ESCAMBIA COUNTY'S DRUG COURT
Phase I: Participants must secure employment, perform community
service or enroll in school; begin paying any restitution or fines
owed; pay $31.75 a week for treatment; attend treatment sessions three
times a week; work toward securing graduation equivalency, driver
license and voter registration when possible; report to court every
Friday; observe 11 p.m. curfew; remain clean and sober and submit to
frequent drug tests.
Phase II: Participants must continue the elements of Phase I but
attend treatment sessions twice weekly and report to court every other
Friday.
Phase III: Participants must successfully complete all tasks outlined
in Phase I, have clean drug tests for six months; attend sessions once
weekly and report to court once a month. To graduate from the program,
all fines and fees must be paid in full.
