B.C. TEEN TURNS HIMSELF IN TO U.S. POLICE TO FACE MARIJUANA SMUGGLING CHARGES
BLAINE, Wash. - A B.C. teen accused of helping smuggle marijuana from Point
Roberts, Wash., through Canada to Blaine on a school bus has turned himself
in to U.S. authorities.
The 15-year-old from Delta is charged in Whatcom County with conspiracy and
delivering drugs.
He is accused of giving a duffle bag containing marijuana to a girl for
delivery on the school bus.
The 16-year-old Point Roberts girl is facing charges, with court documents
saying she made similar deliveries three times. A 16-year-old Point Roberts
boy is also charged in the case.
