VEHICLES SEIZED IN DRUG BUST

A total of five people have been arrested in a transnational investigation
into drug trafficking, and police have also seized two expensive SUVs
believed stolen by a suspected gang of drug dealers.
RCMP said they raided a home in the 11800-block 220th Street in Maple Ridge
and seized a Lincoln Navigator and a Cadillac Escalade, 70 marijuana plants
and steroids from the home. Police also arrested two men and a woman. In a
later raid at a home in the 21500-block Ashberry Court RCMP seized more
marijuana, cash and steroids. They also arrested two men. All five are
being shipped out to St. John's, Nfld., where they are wanted for
drug-related offences.
