Ami, 20, Sells Sex On Dad's Patch

THE daughter of a senior policeman is working as a UKP120-an-hour hooker
and selling cocaine to clients.

Ami Laurie plies her trade on her father's police patch, then goes
home to sleep under his roof. One of her favourite kinks is using handcuffs.

The escort girl's dad, Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Laurie, is a
highly respected officer working in Glasgow city centre, 20-year-old
Ami's favourite haunt.

He was devastated when the Record told him about his daughter's secret
life.

An insider said last night: "It's amazing that Ami would do this to
her father. He's a decent guy and you have to feel sorry for him -
it's every parent's nightmare.

"He's given her a home and this is how she pays him back. She ought to
be ashamed."

In a hotel overlooking Strathclyde Police HQ, Ami provided an
undercover Record investigator with UKP50 worth of cocaine.

She then took some of the drug herself.

Ami also made it clear she was ready and willing to provide sexual
services.

She said: "Some girls don't think they have to have sex when they work
as an escort but I know what's expected of me.

"I do all kinds of sex. Lesbian sex and group sex, it's all good. I
like light bondage and I enjoy using handcuffs."

Ami advertises on the website of an escort service. The site describes
her as a well spoken, classically trained actress, who is "available
for single male and female clients and couples".

Our man got in touch, posing as a potential client who produced porn
films.

He told the man who answered the phone that Ami should meet him at a
Glasgow hotel - a short stroll from the city's main police station in
Pitt Street.

The reporter also asked if the vice girl could bring two half-grams of
cocaine.

Ami arrived at the hotel at 9.15pm and went upstairs to our
investigator's room.

She accepted UKP120 for a one-hour booking, then said: "I've got a
package for you. It's UKP50. I take coke but I'm not sure what this is
like."

Ami went to the bathroom and helped herself to some of the drugs she
had just sold.

When she returned, she asked our reporter about his work. And her eyes
lit up when he told her he was a London-based porn baron.

Ami said: "I'd like to do porn but I'd rather dolesbian porn than the
normal stuff.

"I'm right into my lesbian stuff at the moment, although I'm not
gay.

"I did some lesbian shows while working as a stripper and I thought,
I'm enjoying this, I could get used to this.

"Then one thing just led to another."

Despite her enthusiasm for her work, Ami admitted there were some
services she would not perform with clients.

She said: "I might get married one day and I need to keep some things
for my husband. I think that's a good policy."

After chatting to Ami, our man said he had to go to another
appointment.

She said: "That's a shame. That's terrible. Would you like me to give

The investigator told her to keep it.

Ami has been working as a vice girl for several months. She also has a
day job at a Norwich Union call centre in Bishopbriggs, near Glasgow.

Her 45-year-old dad is head of CID in Strathclyde's A Division, which
covers the centre of Glasgow.

A source said: "It's bad enough that Stuart's daughter is breaking the
law but she's doing it in his division. It's likely his detectives
will be forced to act."

The insider added: "Stuart had a party at his house when he was
promoted to acting detective chief inspector and Ami was asked to make
sure his pals from the force had their glasses topped up.

"She wasn't too happy about being there. She had to knock back a
booking."

DCI Laurie was horrified when told of his daughter's activities but
declined to comment. Ami was unavailable to speak to us.
