MAN REFUSED MEDICAL POT GETS HEARING
TRAIL -- A man who claims a doctor discriminated against him by refusing to
prescribe him medical marijuana because he has a history of drug abuse will
have his case heard at a B.C. Human Rights hearing.
Dennis Lillico, who suffers from a rare and painful neurological illness,
said he's been told his case against Dr. Sian Spacey of Vancouver and his
complaint against the B.C. College of Physicians and Surgeons will proceed
to a hearing. His case against two Trail-area doctors was dismissed.
