BEVERLY HILLS MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS SAY NO TO DRUGS

HUNTINGTON -- "We've Got Better Things to Do Than Drugs," was the
theme when Beverly Hills Middle School students and staff gathered in
their gym Tuesday afternoon to celebrate National Red Ribbon Week for
a Drug-Free America.

National Red Ribbon Week is celebrated annually across the United
States Oct. 23 through Oct. 31.

Decked out in various shades of red clothing, the BHMS sixth grade
choir kicked off the festivities with a rendition of "That's What
Friends Are For."

The BHMS cheerleaders got the crowd laughing with their anti-drug
spirit cheers.

Marshall cheerleaders and the Herd's Marco were also there. WOWK TV 13
News Anchor Keith Jones came to talk to the students about staying
away from drugs.
