NEEDLE-DROP PROGRAM OKS ILLEGAL DRUG USE

To the Editor,

Re: Needle boxes aim for cleaner streets, Aug. 9.

If there is only a small population of intravenous drug users in
Nanaimo, why can't law enforcement officials do something permanent
about them?

This just says it's OK to use drugs, but get rid of your needles
safely please.

Since when has the use of illegal drugs been OK?

This just does not address the problem issue.
