THE TORIES, 'JUNKIES' AND JUNK MAIL

We in Richmond received this mailing, so it wasn't specific to east Vancouver.

What caught my eye was the misrepresentation offered up by Liberal
and New Democratic Party members. The pamphlet states, "Punish drug
pushers with more jail time" and "Keep junkies in rehab and off the streets."

Does that sound as if the Conservative party doesn't discriminate
between drug dealers and drug users?

It indicates a distinct difference, and I believe most people would
agree that drug dealers should be behind bars while "junkies" should
have the opportunity to be rehabilitated and turn their lives around.

This, according to the pamphlet, is the Conservative position.

The one thing I must thank the Liberals and NDP for is their antics
and misrepresentations, both in Parliament and in committees. These
have helped in my decision of whom not to vote for.
