GROW-OP GEAR SEIZED -- AGAIN

A drug bust in the British Properties netted 500 marijuana plants and
equipment marked with police file numbers.

Police arrested five people near Park Royal Mall on Tuesday after they
left a Stevens Drive grow-op. In addition to the marked equipment,
police found 500 pot plants.

Sgt. Shane Barber said the equipment may have been seized at another
grow op and bought in an auction.

Four of the five -- a 76-year-old man and three women, aged 66, 17 and
16 -- will likely be charged with possession for the purpose of
trafficking. Rong Qia Liang, 46, charged with production and
possession of a controlled substance for trafficking, appeared in
court yesterday and will be back in court on July 27.
