INACCURATE NONSENSE

Re: Battle against drug-impaired drivers may get new weapon.

Cheryl Gallant is pulling numbers out of the air, or simply making them up.

She says, "Drug-impaired drivers are involved in an estimated one out
of every eight fatal collisions on our street..." but there has never
been a study to prove that.

It may be true, but just because police say something doesn't make it
true. In fact, when it comes to marijuana, police seem unable to
tell the truth. The first Canadian laws against marijuana were put
in place in 1923 based on racist lies, and a supposed danger to
society that never actually existed.

Is Cheryl Gallant the new Emily Murphy? Will she propagandize and
reiterate outdated and scientifically inaccurate nonsense in an
effort to stir up fear and fealty in the public?

Oh wait! She already did that!
