HOME GROW-OP HIS RIGHT, SAYS SPURNED RENTER
A B.C. medical marijuana user has taken his right to grow pot in a
rental home to the Human Rights Tribunal.
Vandale Smith told a landlord he intended to grow marijuana in the
rental home, and was licensed to do so by Health Canada.
Landlord Paramjit Tung admitted during pre-hearing applications that
he turned the man down.
A date for a hearing has been set, but the tribunal won't release the
information to the public.
