U.S. PROHIBITION FAILED, TOO
Re: War is hell and it's here (editorial, Aug. 9).
We will never reduce the plague of gangs and shootings unless and
until we end drug prohibition and legalize all drugs.
It seems we have learned nothing from the failings of alcohol
prohibition which incubated the rise of Al Capone and his ilk.
