4 TEENS ARRESTED AFTER POLICE DOGS CAR SEARCH AT FPC

PALM COAST -- Four Flagler Palm Coast High School students were
charged Friday morning with drug possession after sheriff's deputies
and dogs searched cars at the school, authorities said.

Flagler County sheriff's spokesman Debra Johnson did not identify the
three juveniles and an 18-year-old who were arrested after Sgt. Steve
Birdsong and K-9 Zor, along with Deputy Jamie Roster and K-9 Gypsy,
made a routine sweep of the vehicles in the school's parking lot on
State Road 100.

The charges filed against the four ranged from misdemeanor possession
of cannabis to felony possession of a controlled substance, she said.

The 18-year-old was taken to the Flagler County jail. Two juveniles
were taken to the Division of Youth Services and a third was released
to his parent , Johnson said.

The Sheriff's Office routinely conducts sweeps of the parking lots in
all of the Flagler County School District schools, Johnson said.
