GROUP GATHERS TO PROMOTE OK OF MEDICAL MARIJUANA
FLINT - A local group again is pushing to legalize the use of
marijuana by sick and dying patients.
Supporters of the Flint Coalition for Compassionate Care met in front
of Flint City Hall on Saturday afternoon to speak about medical
marijuana, spokesman Brian Morrissey said by e-mail later in the day.
Morrissey said the coalition began a ballot initiative in 2005 that
ran into legal problems. The group wants to start another drive this
year.
