DRUGS TOO HORRIBLE TO ALLOW SAFE INJECTION

I wonder if any individuals or politicians would ever, as a
public-relations statement, roll up their sleeves and inject
themselves in a supervised safe-injection site with a "safe" dose of
illegal street drugs.

That would finally prove to the skeptical public how "safe" injection
sites are and why the taxpayer should fund them.

If they could never dream or imagine doing something so horrible to
themselves, why would they advocate that it's OK, legal and there
should be a safe place for other fellow humans to do it?
