INQUEST SET FOR WOMAN WHO DIED AFTER ARREST
The B.C. Coroners Service has scheduled an inquest into the death of
Adrianne Claudette Bos in Port Alberni on Oct. 27, 2005.
Bos was arrested on Oct. 23 by Port Alberni RCMP for possession of a
controlled substance. She was taken to the Port Alberni RCMP
detachment and booked into cells.
Within an hour, she was seen having convulsions. An ambulance was
called. Bos died in Nanaimo Regional General Hospital four days later.
The inquest begins April 17 at 9:30 a.m. at the Port Alberni
provincial courthouse.
Coroner Rose Stanton will preside over a five-person jury.
