ACLU HOSTS TALK ABOUT DRUG POLICY

The American Civil Liberties Union of Ohio is sponsoring a discussion
about drug reform and racial bias in drug policy at 7 p.m. Thursday at
the downtown YMCA, 2200 Prospect Ave., Cleveland. Ethan Nadelmann,
founder and executive director of Drug Policy Alliance, and Mittie
Imani Jordan, drug reform advocate and founder of Deuteronomy 8:3 Cafe
Books & Music, will discuss national drug policies that produce
harsher sentences for crack cocaine versus powder cocaine possession
and distribution. Admission and parking are free.
