MYSPACE PAGE OF GRIEVING FATHER TRUMPETS POT, GANGS

The father of the 10-year-old girl who was fatally shot in her Denver
apartment has a MySpace.com profile that trumpets marijuana use and
gang culture.

A photo of the girl, Auralia Cisneros, is posted on the page of Leo
"Mickey" Cisneros, her 29-year-old father, with the caption "Rest in
peace my angel I love you."

A pictures link on the page shows additional photos of Auralia and
other family members.

The wallpaper of the page is a black background with blue marijuana
leaves and the name of a well-known gang in west Denver - displayed
prominently on the page.

After Auralia was shot Monday night, police said marijuana was
involved in the incident and that there are gang ties to the case.

But extended family members said police are off base and that
Cisneros, who exchanged gun fire with two men who knocked on his
apartment door, doesn't sell pot and isn't connected with gangs.

Jessy Paiz, 20, who is the cousin of Auralia's mother, Amanda Salas,
dismissed the concept of the profile page.

"That's just an image," Paiz said. "You can't judge a book by its cover."

Cisneros legal name isn't part of the profile, but Paiz said he's
familiar with the Myspace page and acknowledged it as Cisneros'.

On the page, Cisneros describes himself as a 29-year-old Denver man
who attended West High School.

He lists his occupation as "street PHD" and that he makes up to
$100,000 annually.

Paiz said Cisneros and Salas are in deep grief and too shaken to talk
to the media about their daughter's death.

Investigators have sealed off the couple's apartment, on the 4700
block of West Tennessee Avenue, and they've not been able to return home.

Police released no new details Thursday on the case. They continue
to search for two at-large suspects in Auralia's death.

Paiz said: "Hopefully, they catch this coward."
