BURNS CONFIRMED AS DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF ONDCP
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Former Iron County Attorney Scott M. Burns was
officially sworn in as Deputy Director of the White House Office of
National Drug Control Policy on Friday.
Burns has served at ONDCP as the Deputy Director for State, Local and

local, and tribal law enforcement matters.
He has also served as the United States representative to the World

Walters said, "Scott Burns has tirelessly served the citizens of the

drug trafficking organizations. Scott will continue to serve this
administration with expertise, devotion and dedication. I thank him
for his public service, and I welcome him as the Deputy Director of
the Office of National Drug Control Policy."
Prior to serving in Executive Office of the President at the White
