THANKS FOR SUPPORTING DARE
The fifth annual Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) program's golf
tournament was another success this year, and I would like to thank
our major sponsors, Maritime-Ontario Freight Lines, Fines Ford Lincoln
Sales and Service, and Solmar Management, along with Woody's Building
Products, Ledson Holdings, Multi-Vans, Garden Foods, James Dick,
Rotary Club of Palgrave, Versatile Spray Painting, H.B.I. College,
Caledon West Rotary Club, The Naked Vine, Canadian Tire and all of the
people that donated gifts for our raffle and golfers.
And a special thank you to the Caledon Chamber of Commerce and the
DARE committee for their help.
The money raised will help to continue the DARE program in our Caledon
schools. This is a major educational program that teaches our Grade 6
children how to make the right choices when confronted with drugs,
alcohol and peer pressure.
Thanks again Caledon, for helping to keep our kids safe and
healthy.
