Re: "Turning Point turns away from plan," July 1.

I vividly remember the day I read: "Recovery house proposed in Richmond."

Fear arrived, but I realized recovering addicts need acceptance. They
are human, just like every one of us. However, our neighborhood is
still growing and within the drug house are many potential risks. I
agree addicts need to learn to interact with the community, but I
don't believe it's our neighbourhood.

Last week, I picked up the newspaper and read a new headline. I felt relief.
