CHEAP SHOT?
Most intelligent and caring human beings in this city know that drug
addiction is first and foremost a health problem.
So I find it offensive that columnist Joey Thompson continues to refer
to addicts in this city as "druggies."
It is a cheap shot that does nothing to inform and advance the
legitimate debate in our city about how best to deal with
addiction-driven crimes.
