DRUGS TRAGIC

Dear editor,

While there are many tragic stories about people who have problems
with drugs, to me the issue is one of personal responsibility.

The writer of this letter is implying it is somehow the public and/or
government's responsibility to tell her she had a drug use problem.

I agree treatment should be available for anyone who wants it, but it
has to be up to the individual to decide if and when they need it. If
not all personal liberty and freedom is in jeopardy.
