STATE MEDICAL POT LAWS NEEDED

Regarding "Patients to push for medical marijuana law," June 3: As a
Colorado Christian, I voted to allow sick citizens to use the
relatively safe God-given plant cannabis (kaneh bosm/marijuana)
legally, and it works.

Whether or not the federal government allows the plant's use is
inconsequential. The important component of state legalization is to
stop government from caging sick citizens for using a plant that was
arguably created by God, the ecologician, to be used for the healing
of the nations.

When enough states exhibit true compassion, the nation will follow
suit.
