HIGHER-UPS WON'T SUFFER CONSEQUENCES

While I have no reason to doubt or criticize the Parasiris verdict -
12 jurors heard more facts than I did - I wonder if, in their
deliberations, they pondered this: What could be the consequences of
their verdict?

If I were a drug dealer, I would now be lining every closet in my
home with weapons. If I were a police officer, I would not hesitate
to shoot when performing a surprise invasion.

Higher-ups are to blame for the botched raid. But higher up is not
where the consequences will lie.
