SPLIT DECISION IN KAY VS. KAY

On the marijuana debate between Jonathan and Barbara Kay, I throw
myself onto the lists with Goodie Barbara.

To debate the positives and negative attributes of alcohol and
marijuana is tiresome: what should be considered is that, over time,
alcohol has retained an acceptability as a social drug, and marijuana
has not.

So Mr. Kay should refrain from his social engineering, which is based
on the belief that modern society better understands our world than
our ancestors.

Mr. Kay may still be a little too young to appreciate that our culture
and civilization can be tweaked at will. But he should show a little
more respect, humility and reverence for what has gone before.
