"DOPE" OFFENSIVE WORD TO MEDICINAL USERS

To the editor:

Re: No hope in fighting dope, June 4, 2008

"The fact is, if you smoke 10 joints a day, or drink a 40-pounder of
rye every day, you will have major problems."

My epileptic wife uses the "Volcano Vaporizer" (brand name of device
that vapourizes cannabis instead of burning it) which delivers four
times as much medicine as the same amount smoked (one Volcano pass
equals four smoked joints). She ingests two scoops (of cannabis) every
two to three hours, so that is like 40 to 50 joints worth of medicine
every day.

She has had no problems at all, unless you count not having seizures
and not having toxic side effects as major problems. So please stop
using the word "dope."
