MESSAGE FROM MEXICO
If we continue with the "war on drugs," which makes these substances
incredibly valuable to criminals, we should look to Mexico for our
future. The gangs there recruit trained personnel from the military.
With their huge wealth, they have only the best weapons.
They target and murder police officers. And, if gang members are
charged, the judge is given the option of a bullet or a bribe.
B.C. gangs deal with Mexican gangs to purchase drugs. It is not a case
of if they will use the same tactics but when.
