POT AND THE POST
Ms. Kay's rant about marijuana, her castigation of the Post editorial
board's position that "legalizing pot makes sense" and her claim that
the nature of cannabis has changed over the past 25 years made me roll
another one. I agree: over the past quarter century the quality
certainly has improved. Now, we roll them much thinner -- more buzz
for the buck, so to speak. I want to assure Ms. Kay that contrary to
what she read and quoted, there is no link between cannabis and
psychosis, any more than there is between alcohol and psychosis,
tobacco and psychosis, or God forbid, chocolate and psychosis.
One thing is for sure -- pot makes the Post a "better
read."
