B.C.'S JUSTICE SYSTEM IS COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT
Editor:
I learned that fighting the provincial criminal justice system for
change is a complete waste of time.
I cannot argue with a system that is so seemingly not
competent.
B.C. has twenty thousand grow-ops.
With shrunk resources it can take five hours to respond to an impaired
driver and the Picton Farm investigation is costing more than $100
million.
The Vancouver Eastside has 7,000 drug addicts.
The U.S.A. has a huge reduction in crime and drug use, and the U.K. 40
per cent reduction.
Here in B.C. it requires the equivalent of one dam to support
grow-ops.
We are being asked to dim our lights, leave air conditioners off and
cool our homes in winter so that they can operate more
efficiently.
Just what is wrong?
I urge all residents to write the Federal Government and have them
involved.
Federal prisons -- they work, have good programs and no one gets out
till their sentence is done.
Last but not least, please listen and support your police
departments.
