QUIT PUSSYFOOTING

All of the preventive measures to combat illegal grow-ops are already
in place.

If They are Not, They Should Be. To say the courts and the police
cannot keep up, is playing the fool. It also sends a bad message to
the criminals at the forefront of the problem. The only thing that
should be addressed is the penalty for the crime.

If the legal system would quit pussyfooting around with the problem
and get some teeth into laws and their enforcement, then the problem
would greatly diminish.

How difficult is it to prove the grow-op exists at a location, once
discovered? And how difficult is it to determine who owns the property
and who should be responsible for what is found on that property?

These criminals are playing the system for the fools. Increase minimum
jail time. Put the financial burden on the perpetrators . The money
will help pay for the work that needs to be done.
