NO PRAISE FOR DRUG DEALER
Re: Jadah begins repaying debt, Jan. 22.
I am appalled that a family member of drug dealer James Hayward
called him a "caring, funny, supportive and compassionate person." I
have a daughter who used to be teenager not that long ago, and in my
opinion people like Hayward are inconsiderate murderers who for
profit sell drugs to vulnerable, younger people, slowly killing them.
They take advantage of young people's naivety and lack of life
experience to ply them with drugs to make a profit. The article shows
that Hayward was selling drugs to kids as young as 13 (he was then
21), and that he became personally involved with Jadah Walker when
she was 15. Despite pleas from her father to leave her alone, he kept
supplying her with drugs and destroying her life until he was killed
by Jadah's father, Kim Walker.
A bear that gets killed because it puts a person's life in danger
gets my sympathy because it is an animal that acts on its natural
instincts. A human who deliberately destroys other people's lives does not.
