LESS DANGEROUS THAN PRESCRIPTION DRUGS

If handled as any prescription drug is today, marijuana would provide
relief to thousands. It is probably a lot less dangerous than many
other prescription drugs currently available.

I have a friend who suffers from chronic pain who says the only relief
he gets is from marijuana. Of course, the only way for him to get that
relief is to break the law and risk the costs and embarrassment of
being arrested. With no other drug providing him relief, I think this
puts him at an unfair risk.

They are not trying to put marijuana on the street for anyone to use,
only for those under the care of a licensed physician who is aware of
the patient's health history.

To continue to refuse to treat these poor souls with a drug that would
improve the quality of their lives is almost criminal in itself.
