PEOPLE SHOULD BE INCENSED OVER SHOW
Editor:
Re: Rules Go Up in Smoke, the Herald, Jan. 21.
I read this article with shock and disgust. What is going on in our fair city?
A number of questions come to mind. First of all, since when do we
have people with criminal records giving performances to our kids?
There was security, so where were they when this Belly character lit
up and called on the audience to join? I would have expected them to
be up on the stage with a hand on the collar of his shirt!
We are told security pounced on the audience members who started
smoking, also that "searches" were done as the people came in. I'd be
interested to know if they were kicked out?
Another couple of observations: If you've got an outstanding parking
ticket, you'll be stalled at the border. How do guys with records get
booked to play at the arena? And you can't even bring your own soft
drink to a concert. . .
I sincerely hope there will be a major outcry over this one. Families
or anyone with moral values will be incensed!
