JUDGE'S RULING 'DISGRACEFUL'

Re: "Grow op ruling shows need for justice system overhaul," and "Police
actions don't reflect poorly, judge's comments do," the Now letters,
February 12.

There have bee plenty of letters written on the disgraceful ruling
that B.C. Supreme Court Justice Catherine Bruce made recently. After
rulings such as this, I am wondering if the occupant of the house
involved would have opened fire with a weapon, would he have also been
cleared of charges, claiming self defence?
