RULING TO PROTECT POT GROWER BAFFLES AVERAGE CITIZENS
Justice Catherine Bruce reveals herself as yet another member of the
judiciary dangerously out of touch with society. It is no wonder
crime is out of control in Metro Vancouver, when a judge places the
rights of a someone growing drugs ahead of the safety of society. Who
can blame law enforcement officers for being frustrated with a
judicial system so badly broken? The next time a member of the public
dies in the crossfire between drug gangs, I hope Bruce takes a minute
to reflect on how her ruling might contribute to the carnage on our
streets. It's time that we elected judges, to ensure sensible rulings
that reflect the values of law-abiding citizens.
