DON'T PENALIZE PUBLIC

The law in this case is to blame. If the police followed an improper
procedure in how they "knocked" at a grow-op, penalize them and not
the public by letting these goofs off.

That the cops may have entered improperly doesn't change the fact
there were 704 pot plants in the house.

The proper decision should be that the police did something wrong and
this will be dealt with separately -- but that the accused is still
guilty of breaking the law.

If I killed someone and the police didn't knock properly, do I get off?
