JAIL GUARD CHARGED WITH DRUG TRAFFICKING
EDMONTON (CNS) - A guard at the Fort Saskatchewan Correctional Centre
has been charged after allegedly smuggling drugs into the jail.
Marijuana, methamphetamine and cocaine was allegedly being sold to inmates.
Elmer Jules Half, 39, was charged with trafficking and accepting a
bribe. The Solicitor General's office said Half has been a guard for
18 years and worked in Fort Saskatchewan since 2003.
