One of your readers was "horrified" at a Doonesbury strip poking fun at the
California attorney general's effort to protect sick people from medical
marijuana.

Doesn't he know that we humans try to laugh when confronted with pain and
suffering caused by stupidity and the insanity of doing the same thing,
year after year, and expecting a better result? Your writer shouldn't worry
if his children understand the joke because it's too late to keep them
shielded from the truth.
