DOPE IS GOOD FOR YOU
To the editor:
Gary Hines's letter to the editor (Dec. 18) suggests that marijuana use
indirectly causes death. These are harsh words towards something that I
(and many others) consider to be life giving. Marijuana is a sacred plant
that has been used by people for longer than history. It has many uses, but
whether they are social uses, medical uses or industrial uses, none of them
are the cause of death. Directly or indirectly.
