FILM EXPLORES MARIJUANA USE AND ISSUES
The Wolfson Center will showcase Grass, the award-winning film by Ron Mann
on the history of marijuana use and legislation in the United States.
Mann will introduce the film and then open a seminar to discuss the film
and the film-making process, as well some of his new projects.
Catchy pop art and the Woody Harrelson narration offer a fresh look at a
genre started from 1936's satiric Reefer Madness.
The film starts at 2 p.m., today at the Wolfsonian-FIU, 1001 Washington
Ave., Miami Beach.
Suggested admission/contribution is $5.
