IS METH REALLY POISONOUS?

Dear Editor:

In regards to "Meth is Pure Poison," Feb. 16:

How can meth be poisonous if so many users survive? How could the
dealers sell thousands upon thousands of pills if the users drop dead
after ingesting them? Donít you see? By passing along falsehoods such
as was included in your editorial, who can blame the kids if they
ignore your advice?

Do your research, give your readers the straight goods and your
newspaper will become known as an unbiased source of the facts rather
than the hallucinations of a doctrinaire prohibitionist who would
rather see people jailed than allowed to choose what to ingest into
their own bodies.
