CANNABIS SPEAKERS ARE NOT MEMBERS
I would like to point out that none of the speakers at the Legalise
Cannabis Alliance (LCA) conference on March 17 is a member of the party.
The LCA does not run a membership. We consider the issues that surround
cannabis to be of cross-party concern.
Since most of the major parties will not allow members to join another
party, we have chosen to seek support in other ways.
One such way is the endorsement of our principles, aims and proposals.
Another is to attend or speak at our conference. In this way, we hope that
those of our supporters and speakers who are members of other parties -
such as barrister Mr roger Warren-Evans who is a member of the Labour Party
- - will not be brought into conflict with those parties.
