CANNABIS PROPAGANDA
WITH THE start of the university year, the pro-cannabis propaganda pack
will be hunting for a new crop of victims. Earnest young men and women,
maybe a lecturer or two, will harangue their intended prey at student
parties, probably armed with cannabis donated by their favourite gang. A
choice prize would be a student who is willing to boast openly that he or
she smokes cannabis regularly; a future prime minister or future members of
Parliament priceless trophies.
The real purpose of the world-wide campaign to achieve voluntary mass
medication with cannabis has not been revealed by the United Nations
originators. Maybe what is known of its short and long-term effects on
health, education and emotional development of young people could provide a
clue. The tricks used by the cannabis promotionists might be compared with
the deception and cover-up used by the tobacco industry.
